At 10 a.m. on Wednesday 18th June 2008 at Steep Point WA I took the first steps of my 4,800 kilometre solo walk across Australia to end at Cape Byron NSW around October 2008. You should alll be aware that I am attempting to break the existing across Australia record of 115 days and at the same time- trying to raise $200,000 to assist kids wth cerebral palsy and leukodystrophy. While encouraging donors to donate on-line through this Everyday Hero website - I should aslo add that something like $34,000 has already been donated to the Lions Geelong - Long Walk" accoount, PO Box 553, Geelong, Vic 3220.
