4 pipers, 1 tenor drummer and 2 flagwavers from Kalamunda, Western Australia will be marching in the Pipefest charity parade in Edinburgh's old town this August (see www.pipefest.com ). The sight and sound of thousands of pipers and drummers marching down the historic Royal Mile will be spectacular! Kicks off with Edinburgh Castle's one o'clock gun on Saturday 7 August 2010. The Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF) is dedicated to finding a cure for cancer. We finance facilities not provided for by government, filling a vital funding gap in Australian cancer research funding. We award grants between $1.5m and $10m for major projects with the potential to produce real breakthroughs for cancer patients.
