Help work wonders for sick kids

Hi there … I’ve been busy lately keeping up with 2 year old son Hayden and now our new baby daughter Emmerson. But I’m definitely keen to fit Swim4Kids in this year - a 100km tag team from Seaworld on the Gold Coast to the Brekky Creek Hotel. I’ll be swimming a 1 km leg…in a shark cage…jumping off from Seaworld on Thursday 16th October.

I’m grateful for health and happiness of my own kids…and this is my chance help kids who aren’t as lucky.

You can jump in as well and make a splash. Sponsor me now (it’s tax deductible)...it’s for a great cause…to work wonders sick kids at the Royal Children’s Hospital.

Swim4Kids” was developed with the idea of helping the kids of the Royal Children’s Hospital. It is a 100 km “tag team” swim from Seaworld on the Gold Coast to the Breakfast Creek Hotel in Brisbane. The swim begins on Thursday 16th October and will reach the Breakfast Creek Hotel on the morning of Sunday 19th October. Swimmers will complete a 1 km leg and hand over to the next swimmer. Each swimmer actively raises funds by getting people to sponsor their leg and all proceeds of the Swim4Kids event goes to the Royal Children’s Hospital.

Swim 4 Kids 2008 for Royal Children's Hospital Foundation

The Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation (RCHF) is the fundraising arm of the Royal Children’s Hospital in Brisbane – Queensland’s leading paediatric critical care facility for children.

The Foundation is committed to funding vital medical research to develop faster diagnostic tests, better treatments, vaccines, and cures for the worst illnesses affecting our children. We currently fund research into childhood cancer, burns, nutrition, viruses, infectious diseases, respiratory illnesses, cerebral palsy and telemedicine.

The RCHF also provides support services within the hospital and wider health service district, to help brighten the lives of sick kids and their anxious families.

With your help we can find better treatments and cures for childhood illnesses, and continue the important task of bringing a little wonder to the lives of sick kids and their families.
