Due to unforseen circumstances CFQ has had to cancel this November’s 2008 Trek.

We will resume our trek in March 2009 and I look forward to sharing many pictures and stories with you all as of next year.

Thank you so much taking an interest in Cystic Fibrosis fundraiser. Your kind donation towards raising funds for this cause is truly appreciated.

Every one of your dollars no matter how big or small will be helping fund all aspects of Cystic Fibrosis research and aid in the comfort for those who suffer from this life threatening, genetic condition.

As some of you may know I was born with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and being involved with something so close to my own heart brings me much delight and fulfilment.

To have the chance to be part of a very select team to be able to go New Zealand and achieve such a goal, is truly going to be, an amazing experience.

After undergoing Triple Transplant in 2005, (Heart, Lungs and Liver) I have been able to maintain great health (no longer with CF adversity) although a transplant is not a cure, it certainly prolongs this degenerative condition and allowed me to be fit enough to “give back” what has been so effortlessly given to me in my time of need.

With you assistance I aim to be able to achieve the goal of raising $5,000.00

Every dollar amount will be greatly appreciated and be making a difference to others affected with CF.

CFQ has always provided me with enormous amount of support, and with 1 child being diagnosed every 3 days, this condition can only be “maintained” or “treated” not as yet cured.
