I am raising money for research into brain tumours in the hope that no-one else will have to suffer the way my friend Daniel has.

Cure For Life Foundation supports research into medulloblastoma, the type of brain tumour Daniel suffered. Daniel was diagnosed in May 2006 at the age of 29, and since then life has been pretty tough for him to say the least.

I'm competing in the Ultraman Hawaii 2008 race on 28, 29 and 30 November 2008. Daniel was hoping to come along to cheer me on, but sadly was diagnosed with testicular cancer on 18 January 2008. He's doing everything he can to fight this new challenge and we are hopeful he will be there at the finish line in November.

I'll swim the 10 kms, ride the 421kms and run the 84kms and you can just donate whatever you can.

Let's eliminate the devastating effects of brain tumours by finding a Cure For Life.
