I nominated for the CUFA Fijian Leadership challenge because I wanted to do something that would improve my self-confidence and get me out of my comfort zone. I knew that this challenge would be hard but would allow me to build on my communication, leadership and team building skills, while at the same time experiencing a different culture and helping people that are less fortunate to develop stronger communities.
