Alistair, a local resident from Binningup, “a touch of paradise by the sea”, is taking The Centre’s Wheelie Big Challenge by decorating his home to be one of the most Spectacular Christmas Light Displays in the Southwest.

Alistair’s wife Robyn said, “Decorating our home for Christmas is Alistair’s hobby, he plans for it all year and we all know to buy switches and decorations he can use for the display for his birthday and Christmas presents. It really is worth a visit - so many moving pieces and bits to look at that you can't even see in a photo!"

This year Alistair is dedicating the spectacular display to his niece Kyra who has cerebral palsy and accesses services through The Centre’s Country Resource Programme (CRP) and to purchase specialised equipment for children with CP.

The CRP’s role is to support children with cerebral palsy like Kyra who lives in regional WA. It is a Perth based programme which supports and enhances the local services accessed by families living with cerebral palsy.

Kyra’s mum said ‘We value the services the CRP team provide for families like us living in regional WA, we don’t feel as isolated with the support The Centre provides.”

Alistair’s employer BHP Billiton Worlsey Alumina have generously offered to match the funds he raises $ for $ through their Matched Giving Program.

To double your $ visit Alistair’s Spectacular Christmas Light Display:

5 Killara Street Binningup

And make a donation, Alistair hopes to raise $10,000 by January 2010 which will be doubled to $20,000 by his employers Matched Giving Program but to do it he needs your help.

If you can’t visit the display, please make a donation here online and send him a message of thanks.
