Thanks for Supporting our Champions! 17 Nov 09 15:31 PM Posted by Annie TosiAnnie is an 11 year triplet sister to Sarah who has severe cerebral palsy and Carl.
Annie inspired Australia with her Award Winning story about Sarah in the National ‘You Be the Difference’ 2009 Cerebral Palsy Awareness Week Campaign.
Annie’s story was honest and from the heart, she asked us to ‘Imagine’ what it is like living with a severe disability. To read Annie’s story visit www.youbethedifference.com.au/wa.
Another important message Annie’s story gave was ‘Next time you see a person with a disability like Sarah, remember to say hello and smile, it will make their day”.
Kathy Kane, The Centre’s Business Development Manager said “you can always count on the Tosi family to pitch in and help, nothing is ever too much trouble for them. Sarah was the face of CP Awareness Week and took the Wheelie Big Challenge in 2008 and now Annie’s outstanding contribution in 2009, they are an amazing family”.
Annie and Sarah’s devoted mum Marisa said “I don’t know what we would have done without The Centre’s support and services over the last 11 years. We are happy to help wherever we can to say thanks”. She said “We are so proud of how Annie’s story is helping The Centre create greater awareness and acceptance of people living with cerebral palsy, it’s all about working together to achieve the very best outcomes for everyone”.
Sarah accesses a wide range of services and received funding for specialised equipment through The Centre. To say thanks for the support Sarah and other children with cerebral palsy receive Annie is hoping to raise $500 by March 2010.
Please give generously your support will not only make a difference to Sarah but to the 600 other children and their families who rely on The Centre for support.
All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
