On February 28 I will participate in my first marathon and would like to use the opportunity to collect donations for individuals and families of individuals with Down Syndrome.

I was fortunate enough to grow up with a close cousin who has Downs and have a special place in my heart for anyone with, or supporting a person with Down Syndrome. By making a donation to Down Syndrome Tasmania via this page your money will go towards supporting and educating parents of children with Down Syndrome and to raise awareness in the community of the positive role that people with Down Syndrome can play within the community.

In addition your donations will help give me the strength and inspiration to train through the remaining cold winter months and to perform my best on race day knowing that I'm not only striving to achieve a personal goal but am also helping support people with Down Syndrome.
