My Room

MY ROOM is a registered charity, which was established in 1993 to support the Children’s Cancer Centre at the Royal Children’s Hospital. MY ROOM was formed through three families who had children undergoing chemotherapy and wanted to support the Oncology Unit at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, Australia.The name originated from the desire to improve the physical environment of the ward, the chemotherapy unit and the out-patient areas of the centre; to create an environment that childhood cancer patients and their families could call “my room”.
