Hanover is a leading, independent, non profit organisation providing programs and services for people experiencing homelessness or housing crisis in Victoria.
Our mission is to empower people who are homeless, or at imminent risk of becoming so, to enable them to take greater control over their lives.
For Hanover, homelessness is much more than just a lack of shelter. It also means not having a supportive environment in which to live, with people who care about each other, where you feel safe, secure and have a sense of personal space and privacy.
We provide:
- homelessness prevention programs
- emergency accommodation
- medium and long term housing
- employment services
- schooling support for children
- health and wellbeing support, including assisting people to settle in to their new home and local community.
