SVI conducts research into the cause, prevention and treatment of common diseases that have serious effects on health. We study cancer and its spread, leukaemia, heart disease, type 1 diabetes, Alzheimer’s disease, epilepsy and other neurological disorders, bone diseases such as arthritis and osteoporosis and infectious diseases.
