Can you imagine losing your sight? Everyday The Queensland Eye Institute works with patients from all walks of life to prevent blindness and preserve their sight.
The Prevent Blindness Foundation was established in 1965 and supports the Queensland Eye Institute in providing clinical eye care, educating all levels of eye healthcare providers, and conducting research to find new ways to save sight and prevent blindness. The Queensland Eye Institute is Australia’s only academic eye institute and their ophthalmologists and scientists work tirelessly to eliminate all preventable blindness in our community.
It is only through the generous support of the community that the Prevent Blindness Foundation is able to continue their sight-saving work.
