Story: In November 2009 I was run over by an oncoming Landrover whilst out training in Loughborough (UK High performance trainin centre), where I was based and training full time for the 2012 Olympics in triathlon. I was critically injured with two punctured lungs, multiple broken ribs, 12 fractured vertebrae and a broken collarbone. RFDS Community Fundraising for Royal Flying Doctor Service Queensland

The Royal Flying Doctor Service provides emergency and primary healthcare services to Queensland through a network of eight bases. As well as emergency aero-medical retrievals, the organisation also provides extensive healthcare initiatives such as remote GP clinics, phone consultations, mental health programs, Indigenous health programs and training and education programs to all communities throughout the state.
