Boardies Day is an initiative of the Surf Life Saving Foundation (SLSF) and promoted as an Annual Community fundraising Event to raise money for Surf Life Saving. By wearing your boardies or beach themed gear, your organisation can get in the mood for summer whilst helping our volunteer surf lifesavers. All money raised will be used to support the amazing work of our volunteer lifesavers around Australia.

For more than ten years the Surf Life Saving Foundation has been committed to providing funding to Surf Life Saving Clubs around Australia to purchase vital
rescue equipment, train and develop future lifesavers and deliver education programs.

The Foundation strives to provide opportunities for the general community to take part in and contribute towards a true Australian tradition – Lifesaving. Together we have been able to achieve so much ensuring our patrolling lifesavers have the equipment, resources and training they need to keep our beaches safe.
