Goulburn to Citi has now finished

For the third year, the Goulburn to Citi Charity Ride will precede the Goulburn to Citi Cycle Classic. We are looking to structure this year's ride around corporate teams with an aim of raising up to $200,000 for the designated charities.

Each team would have to satisfy stringent entry rules:

1. It would be appreciated if each team endeavoured to raise $10,000 for the designated charities. A fully interactive website dedicated to the ride will be a useful means to promote the charity component to friends and family.
2. Each team would consist of a maximum of 10 riders.
3. Each team would be required to have a back-up vehicle driving behind the team with an orange flashing light and a sign clearly stating riders ahead. (Flashing lights and two-way communications supplied)
4. Team support vehicles MUST remain behind the last rider in their team. There is therefore no need for a sag wagon.
5. Each support vehicle must be capable of carrying a minimum capacity of 5 passengers with bikes who may withdraw along the route.
6. All riders would have to be capable to ride 150km's at an avg speed of 32km / hr
7. The events is to start at sunrise (5:50am) and riders to go in groups of twenty (2 teams) with two minutes separating each group.
8. Teams would ride a maximum 2 abreast. Riders have use of 2 metres of Lane 1 on the highway.
9. If a team wishes to pass another team then the front team would drop to single file and the passing team would do so in single file.
10. No passing on bridges or culverts.
11. Riders are expected to arrive at the first check point, Winifred Park Mittagong from 8.10am. Riders not having left the park by 8.50am will be instructed to cease riding and board their support vehicles
12. The second checkpoint is on the top of Razorback range. Riders not having left this point by 10.40am will be instructed to withdraw from the ride and board their team vehicles.
13. There will be no rest stops along the freeway.
14. A First aid vehicle must follow the Charity Ride.
15. An Ambulance will accompany the event to service both Race and Charity Ride.
16. Hotel accommodation is very affordable in Goulburn and at the cost of each team.
