JOIN THE 2012 M+K RIDE WEST
Riders will again complete the cycle from Brisbane to Longreach in aid of the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) in May 2012.
In 2010, the journey was successfully completed on 16 May with a total distance of 1,187 kilometres covered by 31 individuals and 1 team of two. An amazing support crew ensured our journey was safe and incident free. The weather was fantastic and the company and camaraderie extraordinary. Best of all, we collectively raised approximately $152,000 for the great work of the RFDS.
In 2012, we hope to exceed the last ride's total. Starting at Brisbane and ending at Longreach 7 days later, each Rider must obtain a minimum of $ 5,000 in sponsorship.
M+K Ride West combines a fantastic outback adventure and physical challenge with a worthy cause - aiming to raise funds to support the vital life-saving work of the RFDS.
