Thank you for deciding to raise funds for the Returned & Services League of Australia (Queensland Branch).
Formed in 1916, the RSL was established to promote the interests and welfare of former and serving members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and their dependants.
For almost 100 years RSL has been there to assist the sick, elderly and needy plus preserve the memory of those who have served. RSL is committed to providing vital services to both Queensland’s veterans and ADF men and women, and their loved ones.
Any funds you raise help RSL (Queensland Branch) provide vital programs and services for Australian veterans’ and the ADF Community. These include:-
- Emergent Funding for families of currently deployed ADF personnel who have suffered hardship whilst their loved ones are overseas;
- Programs like RSL Soldiers Kokoda. Affording life enhancing support to soldiers recently wounded;
- Free access to pensions and advocacy advice for all veterans, former and currently serving ADF personnel state-wide to access welcomed financial aid;
Assisting veterans who have been affected by hardship get back on their feet.
