Every day SIDS and Kids is supporting families who have experienced the death of their baby or young child during pregnancy, birth, infancy or childhood. Some of those families say they want to remember their child by raising funds to support the work of SIDS and Kids into the future. So to make it easier we have developed this In Memory fundraising page. It is a way to commemorate your child and remind those around you that it is important to remember them. Your family, friends and colleagues can leave a message on your personal webpage and can make an online donation directly to SIDS and Kids in their memory. Its simple to do and doesn't take long but will remain as a lasting memory of your baby or child. |

SIDS and Kids NSW
Here at SIDS and Kids NSW we strive to achieve a future where safe pregnancy, safe birth and safe children are possible for everyone. A bold vision perhaps, but one worth working towards so that every child can grow to achieve their hopes and dreams.
SIDS and Kids NSW provide 24 hour bereavement support for individuals and families who tragically experience the death of their baby or young child during pregnancy, birth, infancy or childhood. This includes miscarriage, stillbirth, sudden infant death (SIDS) or the death of a child for any reason up to 6 years of age. Over the past 10 years we've helped to reduce the incidence of SIDS by 85%. Its a proud achievement but not enough. We know that more than 2000 babies are stillborn each year across ACT and NSW and an estimated 1 in 5 pregnancies end in miscarriage. With your help we will continue to seek the answers to these mysteries and hopefully see more happy and healthy babies being born. |
