Thank you for choosing to support State Schools' Relief by fundraising at your school.

This year we have made it even easier for you to support us. SSR has partnered with Everyday Hero to provide an online fundraising webpage for each participant. In just minutes you can build your own page and approach your supporters for a donation by emailing around the unique link of your webpage. Simply follow the three easy steps including your personal message, fundraising target and any pics and video you'd like on your page.

State Schools' Relief

Since 1930 we have providing quality clothing and footwear to Victorian
students who cannot access these basic items due to circumstances like poverty, neglect, house fires, homelessness, financial hardship, family violence and natural disasters.

We rely solely on donations from schools, individuals, foundations and
businesses to fund our program.

Unlike many charities, no donations are used for administration purposes as the Department of Education Early Childhood Development covers all administrative, salaries and accommodation costs ensuring that 100% of donations go directly to Victorian students in need.

Last year, we made a difference to thousands of Victorian government school students and their families.

Champions can be born on the field with a little help.  Most kids love to take part in school sports but without proper clothing and footwear many don't have the opportunity to fully participate and may never reach their full potential.

We'd love it if your school could support us by holding a fundraising event to raise money for our cause.

There's plenty of fun activities you can do. Some of those in the past have included:

  • Wild and Woolly Warmers: rugging up in bright scarves, beanies, crazy colours and wigs
  • Odd Socks Day: making an out of uniform statement that is easy and lots of fun
  • Zany Hair Day: spray on hair colour, wigs and hair ties
  • Choose your shoes: decorating an old pair of shoes or wearing non-school shoes for the day
  • Bad Hat Day: wear the worst hat you can find
  • Crazy Catwalk:   have a lunchtime event where several students from each class walk the crazy catwalk
  • What I want to be when I grow up (dress up day)
  • Single colour day: Everyone wears clothes in a chosen colour or choose 2 colours

Don't forget to tell us about your activity.  We'd love to hear stories and post your photos on our website.
