**The WAKSA Downwinder will be taking place on Sunday 24th March @ 2pm from Leighton to Brighton beach.  Prize Giving will be at Clancy's City Beach**

We would like to encourage all WASKA members to register and start fundraising for the event as we have some fantastic prizes up for grabs! 

Redkite is delighted to once again be the nominated charity of the 2013 WAKSA Downwinder and we are immensely grateful of the continued support of your membership.  This is the forth year that Redkite has enjoyed association with this event and we’re tipping that it’s going to be the best yet!

Through your online fundraising efforts in previous years you’ve raised over $32,000 which is a sensational achievement!  As a result of your efforts, Redkite has been able to extend essential services to families facing childhood cancer; providing financial assistance, emotional support and educational resources to those facing the most difficult period of their lives.  Watch the short video to learn more about Redkite.

This year we’re hoping to raise a further  $12,000 taking your overall total to $47,000.  It’s an ambitious reach but with encouragement to your network of friends and colleagues I think we can achieve it.  Your support makes such a difference.
