Thank you for participating in the Balmoral Swim and supporting Children's Cancer Institute Australia for Medical Research (CCIA). Last year 24 heroes raised over $22,000 for CCIA in support of the Balmoral Swim. Once again we are looking for heroes to raise vital funds and awareness for childhood cancer research. In just minutes you can build your own page and approach your supporters for a donation by emailing around the unique link of your webpage. Each donation is recorded on your page along with any message of support from your donors. Share your page with family, friends and colleagues and ask for their support. Together we can help CCIA move towards their vision to save the lives of all children with cancer and eliminate their suffering. |

Balmoral Swim 2010 21 Mar 2010 The Balmoral Swim in 2009 was the most successful to date raising over $38,000 for Childhood Cancer Research. This year's Balmoral Swim at Balmoral Beach is expected to once again attract over 500 competitors of all levels and ages. The swim, at arguably the best harbour beach in Sydney or even the world is ideal for those who are wary of ocean swells. The event starts at 10am with a one kilometre harbour swim, followed by a 250 metre swim for juniors team followed by a Team Relay challenge. The Team Relay is a great opportunity for families, sporting teams and friends to join the fun. There is a prize in each category. A 150 metre open Dash for Glory is also part of the program. The event is a fund raiser for CCIA - Children's Cancer Institute Australia. The highest fund raiser (individual or team) on Everyday Hero wins the Alexander Patrick Hall Charity Cup. |
