The 5X Challenge now closes 31 August 2010

Walk, jog, run, ride or swim to support country women affected by breast cancer. Every year, thousands of women, living in country NSW are diagnosed with breast cancer. This often means long periods away from home, family and friends for chemo and radiotherapy. Expenses such as travel and accommodation can make accessing cancer treatment up to five times more expensive for country women.  Some women simply refuse to obtain treatment because of the financial burden it places on their families.

This year, Can Assist is calling on women to walk, jog, run, ride or swim to raise funds to help country women affected by breast cancer and their families. We want to raise funds to cover their Sydney accommodation and travel costs and make it easier for them to re-build their lives after treatment.
