Want to do a sporting or active fundraiser for CanTeen? You’ve found the right place! Raise More Than a Sweat is an easy way to raise funds to support young people living with cancer while doing anything active or sporty! Thank you for supporting CanTeen and young people living with cancer. You can choose to Raise More Than a Sweat on your own or as part of a team. Why not get your work colleagues, school or sports club involved? Run, cycle, walk or swim in an organised event, such as the City 2 Surf or City~Bay, OR devise your own challenge. Previous participants have Raised More Than a Sweat by pushing a wheelbarrow 90km up hill, kayaking from one side of the bay to the other, running on a treadmill for 24 hours and walking 100 laps around an oval. The possibilities are endless! Once you have decided how you are going to Raise More Than a Sweat for CanTeen you simply need to register your event or challenge, ask your friends and family to sponsor you and then get moving! It doesn’t matter how much or how little you raise – every little bit will mean CanTeen can continue to provide vital services and programs to help young people cope with the emotional, physical and practical issues of living with cancer. CanTeen has partnered with Everyday Hero to provide an online fundraising webpage you can customise. In just minutes you can build your own page (for free!) and then approach your supporters, friends, family and colleagues for a donation simply by emailing around the link to your webpage. Each donation is recorded on your page along with any message of support from your donors. So get a head start and make sure you create an online fundraising page today by clicking on the 'Start Fundraising' button!
Good Luck!
