It’s that time of year again so dig out your nastiest knits and silliest sweaters and get ready to get daggy for a great cause!

The official Daggy Jumper Day is Friday, August 9th during Homelessness Week and we want everyone to get involved! There are three ways to show your support ...

  1. DONATE
  2. REGISTER to fundraise - how you do it is up to you!
  3. SHARE with your friends, fans and followers on social media and help spread the word about youth homelessness and Brisbane Youth Service's Daggy Jumper Day campaign

Get your friends, family, colleagues or community together and host a daggy-themed fundraising event any time throughout the month of August to help provide life-changing support for homeless and at-risk youth.

If your organisation is planning to host an internal fundraising event and you would like specific support from our Strategic Partnerships Coordinator, please contact Tamasin on 0423 078 999 or at tchugg@brisyouth.org.

Brisbane Youth Service launched Daggy Jumper Day in 2013 as a fun, quirky campaign to raise awareness of youth homelessness and all-important funds to house and support young people during winter. Since its inception, the campaign has involved hundreds of participants and raised over $100,000.

Check out the downloadable posters and social media tiles under Links & Downloads (right) you can use to promote your participation or event. We’ve also put together some daggy ideas for events or activities here.

Brisbane Youth Service

Brisbane Youth Service (BYS) is a registered charity which has been operating in Brisbane since 1977. We assist young people (12-25 years) who are experiencing homelessness, or are at risk of facing homelessness, to find and maintain appropriate housing, address physical and mental health issues, establish successful relationships and support networks, and provide them with pathways to education and employment.
