Did you know that your entry fee for this event only covers the logistical costs involved in staging this event? However, the money that you FUNraise comes directly to us, and enables us to provide much needed support and education to those impacted by asthma – be it those living with asthma, their families, their schools, their child care centres, their workplaces and the general community in WA.

Asthma Foundation of WA

· Most people don’t realise that asthma is a serious and sometimes deadly condition.

· 1 in 10 people currently have asthma. It is the most common reason that children are hospitalized and is one of the top 10 reasons for visits to a GP.

· Asthma is responsible for 1 million days lost at school. However the impact of asthma can be lessened for everyone if asthma is properly managed.

· 1 person dies every day from asthma. Understanding asthma first aid could save a life.
The Asthma Foundation of WA offers the education and training necessary to manage, understand and prevent asthma from worsening.
