The Gibb Challenge is a socially competitive 700 kilometre team relay cycling adventure raising community awareness and money for charity. Teams are drawn from every state and territory in Australia and have undertaken to raise at least $2000 for charity. In a unique approach, The Gibb Challenge invites participating teams to nominate a second registered charity of their choice to share their fund-raising heroics. In six years, our dusty peloton has collectively raised over $2.5M, supporting dozens of charities.
In 2013 our Principal Beneficiary will be the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) and we’ve set ourselves a fund-raising goal of $500,000.
Help this year’s participating teams smash the donations and raise invaluable funds to support not only the RFDS, but many other deserving charities throughout Australia. Your valued donations and personal messages of support will create a remarkable cycling celebration of fellowship along the corrugated super-highway of the Gibb River Road.
