So you have set the date, booked the venue and now you are finalising all of the little details that will make your day that little bit extra special.

You and your partner may have already set up house, paid for the honeymoon and, instead of a traditional registry or bonbonniere for your guests, you are looking for a meaningful way to celebrate your day whilst helping dogs and cats in need.

Instead of asking for a second toaster, you can ask your guests make a donation to The Lost Dogs’ Home. It’s easy to set up and manage your own wedding page. Simply click on Start Fundraising to set up a unique registry to share with your family and friends. Each donation is recorded on your page along with any message of support from your guests.

On the other hand, if you need the toaster and you wanted to thank your guests for taking part of your special day, you can make a donation to The Lost Dogs’ Home. Not only will you be helping lost and abandoned dogs and cats, you will also save hours of tedious ribbon tying around those bags of sugar coated almonds.  Simply click on Donate Now to make a donation on behalf of your guests.

Through the generous support of our donors, staff and volunteers at the Home can continue to provide essential care to lost and abandoned dogs and cats. Some may just need shelter, food and basic care until they’re claimed by owners, whilst others need intensive veterinary or foster care to ready them for new, loving homes.

The Lost Dogs' Home

The Lost Dogs' Home has been providing care for lost, stray, injured and abandoned dogs and cats since 1910. This legacy of compassion continues today through services and programs that improve the welfare of unwanted animals. The Lost Dogs' Home plays a crucial role in the promotion of Responsible Pet Ownership and is a strong lobbyist for legislation that will decrease the number of abandoned and stray animals being admitted to animal pounds and shelters in community. The Home helps fight for fairer standards for those without a voice and cares for 26,000 dogs and cats every year.
