AIDS Trust of Australia

The AIDS Trust of Australia is a national charity and raises funds for the HIV sector.

In Australia, the HIV sector has worked long, hard and successfully to guide, guard and care for Australians in all matters relating to HIV and AIDS.

However, the virus still exists and transmission continues. There is still no cure or vaccine. More and more people live with HIV every day.

The face of HIV is changing. Our current projects relate to emerging concerns among remote, rural and regional youth; travellers and highly mobile workers; and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Because HIV is still here, awareness of HIV must be constantly refreshed. Because HIV requires a growing, changing and complex response across Australia, more money is needed.

The AIDS Trust of Australia raises funds to meet these challenges.
