- Amanda has nearly 20 years experience as an Executive and CEO in the utilities (energy, water and waste-water) and construction sectors
- Amanda is Chief Operating Officer at Infrastructure NSW, the body chaired by Nick Greiner to develop a 20-year plan for infrastructure
A Secret Passion to Climb Everest

Amanda has climbed four of the seven summits with Annie and Everest will be her fifth

To date she has climbed:
- Mt Kosciusko, Australia
- Mt Kilimanjaro, Kenya
- Mt Elbrus, Russia
- Mt Aconcagua, Argentina
- Amanda climbs regularly in New Zealand and has climbed both Mt Aspiring and Mt Cook. Amanda has had a secret passion to climb Everest and has been fascinated by it for many years. A friend once told her to admit to herself that she wanted to do it and start planning it – otherwise it will never happen.

- Amanda led the project team responsible for the energy supply to the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games
- Amanda has graced the cover of Business Review Weekly
- Amanda feels that her greatest achievement to date has been her daughter Coco – but she won’t take too much credit as she says Coco is very much her own person
- In her early years, Amanda played water polo for NSW
- Her mother was awarded a Prime Minister’s award for services to sport
- Her Mum and Dad are her role models to climb to the top of the world!
