For over 80 years MontroseAccess has been helping Queensland children and young adults with physical disabilities requiring ongoing therapy and care. With a multi-disciplinary approach, MontroseAccess is a vital presence in the homes, schools and communities of more than 600 families and currently provides service and support to 65 families across the Sunshine Coast region.

MontroseAccess empowers clients to achieve their maximum quality of life by focusing on their ability instead of their disability. Services such as physiotherapy, speech pathology, social work and occupational therapy are tailored to each client’s individual needs. These are complemented by additional services such as orthotics, family support, recreation, respite and a resource centre designed to supply clients with short to long term equipment loans.

MontroseAccess

MontroseAccess provides therapy, recreation and respite services to over 600 children and young adults with physical disabilities and their families throughout Queensland.

Who do we help?
MontroseAccess' clients age from babies to young adults, who have physically disabling conditions of varying severity. The most prevalent conditions we support are:
- Neuromuscular condition
- Juvenile Arthritus
- Aquired Brain Injury
- Arthrogryposis
- Congenital and aquired bone and joint conditions.

MontroseAccess is unique in that we also provide support for clients with rare or undiagnosed conditions. For many of these families we are the only source of assistance and support.
