Puppy Showers
A Puppy Shower is a great way to support Assistance Dogs Australia in your workplace. It helps us raise awareness and also funds for the work we do. A Puppy Shower is an afternoon or morning tea at your workplace, organised by you, where we will attend with puppies and dogs in training to explain a little bit about our cause. Invite your colleagues along and offer them some cakes or nibbles in exchange for a donation. You can hold it at any time of year but make sure you check your chosen date with us first so we can ensure the puppies can make it too! Assistance Dogs Australia
Assistance Dogs Australia trains Labradors and Golden Retrievers to help people with physical disabilities. Our dogs undertake everyday tasks such as opening doors, pressing the button to cross the road, picking up dropped items to name a few. Most importantly Assistance Dogs give freedom and independence, making their recipients smile with just a wag of their tails.
