"Parkinson's affects people in different ways and our experience has presented challenges, highs, lows, tears and laughter".  John McDonald

Twice a year, Parkinson's WA appeals to the community to support our organisation.  Such gifts do more than simply boost our finances - they are an endorsement of our work for people with and impacted by the condition.

People like John and Anne who have benefited from visits by our Parkinson's Nurse Specialists, accessed our support programs and joined with others to share their experiences.

Providing these services cannot be done without the ongoing contribution and support of individuals, businesses and the general public.

We assure you that every donation goes to help someone who has been touched with Parkinson's, now and in the future.

If you can give, we'll be especially grateful.

Parkinson's WA

Parkinson's WA provides much needed support to more than 20,000 people living with or affected by Parkinson’s in Western Australia. Parkinson's WA is unwavering in our commitment to providing relevant and quality services to maintain the well-being, dignity and quality of life for those diagnosed or impacted by the condition.

Parkinson's is one of the most common and complex progressive neurological conditions in the world and unfortunately there is no cure. Our Parkinson's Nurse Specialist Service, community engagement programs and commitment to research demonstrates that no-one with Parkinson's should be alone.

In this together….

Did you know that every 40 minutes an Australian is diagnosed with Parkinson's and 1 in 5 are under the age of 50 years.

Please donate to our mid-year appeal.

Your tax-deducatble gift will be combined with others to ensure that our Parkinson's Nurse Specialists, support groups, support programs and services will continue to be the best possible now and in the future.
