Let’s make the Royal Daimler fit for a queen again!

How can you help?

In 1954 the Young Queen Elizabeth II toured Australia in a 1948 Daimler landaulette, now part of the National Museum's collection.

In this 60th anniversary year, we are conserving this chapter of the Australian story for future generations.

Get on board and become a Royal Daimler Conservation Partner and help us to reverse the rust on this royal story before its too late.

Hear about the Daimler's unique toolbox.

The National Museum needs your help to conserve the 1948 Daimler Landaulette, used by Queen Elizabeth II in the 1954 Royal Tour of Australia.

Please make a donation to assist us with the important conservation work so that we can have the frame of the Royal Daimler and have a rolling chassis for display for the 60th Anniversary of the Royal Tour, in 2014.
