You are just minutes away from helping a Tassie child in need.

Buy creating your own fundraising page for the 2012 Hobart Run the Bridge you are doing your part to support local Tasmanian children who need that little bit of extra help!

Variety with the help of t3 Events, are raising funds to help children who are sick, disadvantaged and have special needs through the Variety Appeals Program.

Each dollar raised through Everyday Hero will be directed to the Appeals Program helping children to live, laugh and learn.

Variety has recently helped socially and emotionally disadvantaged youth with the assistance of the PCYC.  Variety supplied a Sunshine Coach to a special school which  now allows children with physical disabilities to access a range of programs and activities in the broader community.

Individual recipients remain the heart of what we do, children like Alice, who can now communicate with her family through her new specialised communication device, Ryan, a teenage boy who received a wheelchair enabling him to continue to attend his current high school and Lily who needed a cough assist machine to allow her to stay at home rather than in hospital.

By not focussing on a single problem or a narrow area, Variety is not restricted by boundaries and can concentrate on simply making a difference - a difference to children and a difference in Tasmania.

Variety The Children's Charity Tasmania

Variety inspires hope and enriches the lives of Australian children in need, providing opportunities to increase their quality of life and fulfill their potential. We do this through the provision of equipment such as wheelchairs, Liberty Swings, Sunshine Coaches and communication devices, as well as scholarship programs and life experiences.
