It's a rally, but what is different about this one is that we take shitty cars and see if we can drive them across Australia. The rally will take place on the 20th March 2010 and take about 1 week to complete. During this time we will truly experience the Australian outback and have a hell of a laugh along the way Find out more

Shitbox Rally

20 Mar 2010 - 27 Mar 2010

Sydney - Nyngan - Broken Hill - Copley - William Creek - Oodnadatta Track - Yulara - Alice Springs

Shitbox Rally 2010  route will take us to the gateway of the outback, Broken Hill then onto the Flinders Ranges, up the Oodnadatta Track (weather permitting), onto Uluru/Ayres Rock and finishing in the Alice.

Each destination is a different day of travel with the rally finishing on day 7 in the Alice and day 8 being a full day of R&R at the hotel's swim up bar

The route is designed to make sure we don't lose people along the way. The cars are an asset that we will auction off or donate at the end of the rally so getting all of the cars across the line is very important to us, we will all work together to ensure we do.

Teams need to raise a minimum of $3,000 to participate in the rally, so if there's two of you only $1,500 each.

This amount breaks down as $1,000 for the car, $500 for fuel (anything over will be up to you which will massively depend on how shit your car is, what engine size you go for and how much you take the 'rally' aspect of the journey to heart) and the remaining $1,500 for charity.

We also require a registration fee of $150 per person. We do not use this registration fee to make money from you; this is purely to cover costs to add to the rally experience.
