Every five minutes another Australian is diagnosed with cancer. That’s 288 people that will be diagnosed today. By participating in Short Circuit Cancer you’re helping make today, the day this number changes.

Short Circuit Cancer is a six-hour mountain bike event held in the Sutherland Shire, NSW. Teams of family, friends, corporate and other social groups will ride the Royal National Park in a tag team format to raise funds for Cancer Council NSW and fight cancer.

This year Short Circuit Cancer has made it easy for you to fundraise. While you will still enter and participate as a team, each team member can build their own page. Each donation received is recorded on the page along with messages of support from family and friends.

The event caters to riders of all levels, and also includes activities for the kids, including skills clinics.

The inaugural Short Circuit Cancer event, held in February 2011, raised an incredible $30,000 and because the biggest Relay For Life fundraising event. This year we’ve set our targets even higher with an even target of $50,000.
