The Sports Super Centre Fun Run Series is the official lead up series to the Gold Coast Airport Marathon. A 5 race series that comprises races in distance from 5km to 15km, with Junior Dart races available for kids under 10 that vary in distance from 500m through to 1.5km. All races start and finish at the Sports Super Centre in Runaway Bay - a first
class training facility for the elite and everyday athlete. Race director Travis Ireland stresses "all events and races cater for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. Whilst we attract some of the finest runners in QLD to  each event, you don't have to be a superstar
to race - you might be gearing up to do your first ever run, a season PB, or preparing for your first time at the Gold Coast Airport Marathon". Local companies and schools are encouraged to form teams with fantastic prizes and incentives on offer.

Ronald McDonald House South East Queensland Inc

Ronald McDonald House is the cornerstone program of Ronald McDonald House Charities and is a home-away-from-home for families with a seriously ill child undergoing treatment. When you're stuck in hospital, having family around you can make all the difference. Ronald McDonald House gives families somewhere low cost and comfortable to stay; rather than a hospital waiting room. Sometimes you just need the most important people around you.
