Transplant Australia
Transplant Australia is the national community voice promoting organ and tissue donation and caring for all of those touched by transplantation. Transplant Australia exists to make the most of life – promoting the life-saving benefits of organ and tissue donation to the Australian public and supporting those most vulnerable through their journey back to the fullness of life.
This year Transplant Australia has launched the Journey of Hope campaign which aims to raise awareness of organ and tissue donation among Australians, and raise funds for Transplant Australia’s programs to help people suffering from life-threatening end-stage organ failure. The campaign aims to raise funds for those facing the often arduous wait for a life-saving transplant, but also on the heavy toll it can take on their family. |
