Each donation is recorded on your page along with any message of support from your donors. Urban Max Adventure Series 2010

The Urban Max is Australia’s very own Amazing Race where teams of two race through the city’s urban landmarks in a 3-6 hour adventure. Armed with only a map, a clue sheet and their wits, teams navigate their way around the city to locate and complete a variety of physical and mental challenges. Speed is not always the deciding factor with a strong emphasis on route selection and problem solving skills.

Red Cross is pleased to be the charity partner for the Urban Max events in Brisbane, Perth and Sydney in 2010. Participants can challenge themselves physically and also help make a difference to the lives of vulnerable people in Australia and overseas.

By raising money for Red Cross you will help improve the lives of people in need across Australia and overseas. When an Australian community is ravaged by a bushfire, or a Pacific Island is struck by a tsunami, your support means we are ready to respond to these emergencies.

Your donation will also help people faced with other types of disasters that happen every day, disasters that can be equally distressing.

In areas of disadvantage where a parent may struggle to feed their children, your donation will give kids a healthy breakfast before school. For an elderly person living alone, your support will provide a daily phone call to check on their health and well-being. In a war-torn country where a child and mother have been separated due to conflict, your gift will help to bring them together again.
