Kokoda Chicks 2008 has now finished

The Kokoda Chicks are a group of 12 brave women walking the Kokoda trek in October 2008 to honor the women they know and love that have been affected by breast cancer and also to raise money for breast cancer research. As well as paying for their own travel and trek, each Kokoda Chick is committed to raising a minimum of $5000 each for the National Breast Cancer Foundation; therefore generating in excess of $60 000 as a group for research into the prevention of, treatment of and ultimately a cure for breast cancer. You can support the ‘Chicks’ by sponsoring the trekkers, attending upcoming fundraising events and by passing this information on to friends, family and colleagues.
