The Cystic Fibrosis Great Escape Car Rally has now finished

The Cystic Fibrosis Great Escape is a car rally with a difference!  In the eight years the rally has been running we have visited Great Keppel Island, world heritage listed Fraser Island, the Red Centre and Ayres Rock, the Birdsville Races, the Whitsunday’s, the magnificent Great Ocean Road and the Burke & Wills Dig Tree.

The 2011 rally will run from Tamworth to Port Douglas between 12 to 22 September 2010.

The Great Escape has forged a unique identity as being a friendly, laid back motoring event that caters for all walks of life. You could be a car buff who loves nothing more than to drive the Australian outback, or perhaps you are keen to get away with family and friends and try something a little different. You may like the antics that go with a fun car rally and love dressing up and being really loud and colourful – all in the name of having FUN - while raising funds and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis (CF) of course!

Our beloved Road Boss has an uncanny sixth sense in seeking out and finding hidden treasures in some of the remotest parts of the Australian countryside, so you can be assured you won’t find anything quite like The Great Escape!
