Think Kids Challenge has now finished 08 Aug 2010 The Think Kids Challenge calls upon ordinary people to do something extraordinary by stepping out of their comfort zone and completing the City2Surf. In registering for the Challenge, you will be raising much-needed funds for The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and Bear Cottage. The Think Kids Challenge is inspired by a patient of the Hospital and Bear Cottage, eight-year-old Jay. Jay had a life-limiting neurodegenerative disorder but still bravely participated in the 2004 City2Surf with his Dad. Sadly, He passed away two months later. His legacy remains through the Think Kids Challenge. Funds raised through the Think Kids Challenge help the Hospital and Bear Cottage to provide the best care for sick children and their families. By taking part in the Think Kids Challenge and raising a minimum of $100 in donations you gain FREE ENTRY to the finish line marquee where you will be treated to a free BBQ lunch complete with meat, salads, fruit, snacks, sports drinks, water, beer and wine.
