City2Surf Perth 2010 has now finished

Have you ever had fans cheering you on at a sports event? For bears in Pakistan’s Bear Baiting events, it’s the sound of suffering.

These poor animals are tethered by a nose-ring while they’re attacked by dogs – round after round in front of a cheering crowd – in the name of entertainment. It’s illegal, it’s inhumane, and you can do something about it today.

You can join the City2Surf Perth and run or walk for animals who endure the worst.

It's quick and simple to sign up and all you have to do is:

1.   Register for the race at: www.citytosurf.activ.asn.au

2.   Join the WSPA Animal Hero Team by clicking on 'Build Hero Page'

3.   Encourage your friends and family to sponsor your efforts by sending them the link to your fundraising page and adding it to your social networking sites.

4.   Then strap your sneakers on and start training for the run!
