Triathlon Pink 2008 has now finished

Triathlon Pink is a fantastic initiative for the Australian sporting community, where an event’s total focus is for women only. The Triathlon Pink goals include: • A focus on participation • A focus on a challenging yet fun environment for all participants • A non-confrontational environment which encourages finishing as the biggest achievement. Triathlon Pink is all about getting in and having a go with friends and family at an event that you will remember forever. You can compete as an individual and complete the whole course on your own or get together with a group of friends and compete as team where you can complete one of the legs much like a relay. The first ever Triathlon Pink event was run out of Sydney Olympic Park on 20 October 2007 providing women right across Australia with the chance to call themselves a Pinkie. Triathlon Pink events will be taking place again in the Gold Coast, Sydney, Perth and Melbourne in 2008.
