The Ultimate Burn - 2009 Mt Kilimanjaro has now finished

An initiative of our fearless leader and Humpty’s dear friend The Hon Joe Hockey MP, the Humpty Dumpty Foundation at the end of July will embark on a new adventure - climbing Mt Kilimanjaro. To summit Mt Kilimanjaro, the world’s tallest free-standing mountain at just under 6,000m, on a breathless blue sky dawn, surely rates as one of life’s great experiences. The peak dominates the north-eastern marches of Tanzania with unrestricted views defined only by the curvature of the earth and the haze of distance. While Kilimanjaro is a non-technical climb (no mountaineering experience is required) it is nevertheless challenging.
