You will be investing in the lives of young Australians. Glendyne look after disadvantaged young people who have not had the best of opportunities. Glendyne has a phenomenal success rate in educating and giving students the skills to make a success of their lives. It will make you feel proud to be involved in a project such as this. Give it a go. Glendyne Education & Training in Hervey Bay is managed by Queensland Baptist Care. The unique school is an alternative education model that provides support for the most disadvantaged of teenagers. Six bike riders intend to ride their bikes 1780 kms to help raise funds to enable the school to purchase extra facilities and resources. The riders will set off on Monday 20th April 2009 and return Thursday 30th April 2009. Glendyne has tremendous outcomes with over 85% of students gaining either employment or going on to further education. Investing in the lives of these young people is worthwhile.Please support this wonderful program. |
