Hannahs Foundation – The Great Breakfast Creek Keg Race has now finished

The Great Breakfast Creek Keg Race 2009 is being held on Sunday March 15 at the Breakfast Creek Hotel. This year 12 teams will compete to see who is the fastest as rescuing a keg from Breakfast Creek for the Hotel. Last year it was the Queensland Fire & Rescue Team from Roma Street Station who won the day. Participants from the teams will have to blow up and inflatable raft, carry it down to the creek, paddle across the rescue the keg and bring it back to the starting line. Proceeds from the day will go to supporting Hannah’s Foundation which is Australia’s only Drowning Prevention, Awareness & Support Charity for families who have suffered a loss through drowning.
