Running With Jackson has now finished 05 Nov 2012 - 28 Feb 2013 FUNDS RAISED
Viewers have been touched by the story of Jackson, who has cerebral palsy, and they tuned in to Sunday Night last night to see an update on his fight against the affliction. Jackson Keleher is an Australian child who doctors said would never walk, talk or even stand but who has just taken his first steps without the aid of a walker. His father set upa charitable organisation Walk, Talk, Fly to help his son & other children with Cerebral Palsy.
“Just remember that you aren't fighting this alone, the Nation is right behind Jackson. I know personally that we will do everything we can to help. We would like the public and the Australian Defence Force Members to get behind ‘Running with Jackson’ while our troops complete 11522km in aid of raising awareness and support for Jackson ” Flight Lieutenant Lewis said. |
