Raise funds and set a target to help buy one of the following:
- $300 - Many children with CP require leg and arm splints to give them greater stability.
- $1,500 - Many children with CP are unable to speak and require communication equipment like a communication book made specifically for each child.
- $2,000 - A Second Skin or a mobility suit aids the posture of the wearer by improving core stability and balance in body symmetry making it easier for the person to sit or walk.
- $2,200 - A walker is used to support when learning to walk. Each child needs his or her personalised walker.
- $9,000 - A wheelchair is essential and costs more than some second hand cars.
- $15,000 - For more developed communication some children need a DynaVox. This is an electronic version of the communication book.
Our children and their families will be participating in the 5.5km walk. They can do this because of people raising funds for their CPEC education. Help more of our children to be involved in life by setting up your own homepage and sending an email to all your family, friends and work colleagues to get them to sponsor you. With their financial support you can help CPEC purchase the equipment that will help to transform their lives.
